The Carillon hosted the official public homecoming for Olympic Gold Medalist Evan Lysacek, who accepted the key to the City from Mayor George Pradel. Hundreds gathered at Rotary Hill at the base of Moser Tower to celebrate Lysacek’s outstanding achievement. In late November, approximately 400 people gathered at the base of the Carillon to form the word, “peace,” which was photographed from Moser Tower for the City of Naperville’s holiday greeting card, which will be sent around the world.
